IT Support Engineer

Softwerx, the leading provider of Cloud-based IT Services and Solutions in the South-East of England is recruiting for experienced IT Support Engineers to join a successful Service delivery Team, providing IT Support for a wide range of customers, both remotely and onsite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve a variety of IT issues to service targets (remotely and onsite)
  • Accurately maintain and update the Helpdesk System
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Build positive relationships with customers

Key Requirements

  • Minimum three years IT experience
  • Broad technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure systems (particularly Microsoft)
  • Proven analytical and logical trouble-shooting approach
  • Excellent telephone communication skills
  • Strong drive for high customer service
  • Ability/desire to work within a challenging environment

Salary and Package

  • Basic Salary £20K - £30k per annum (experience dependent)
  • 25 Days paid Holiday per annum

  • Formal technical training and 121 development

General Terms

  • Office-based (Cambridge)
  • 40 hours per week, shift system between 08:00– 18:00, Mon–Fri, excluding Bank Holidays (England)
