Second-Line Support Engineer

Softwerx is an award-winning provider of Cloud and Cyber Security solutions in the UK and is currently growing at 20% per annum. We are now looking for an experienced Second-Line Support Engineer to join our successful Service Delivery Team providing IT Support for a wide range of customers, both remotely and on-site. This role will be based from our London Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve a variety of IT issues to service targets (remotely and onsite)
  • Occasional work on Customers sites in London delivering Projects
  • Accurately maintain and update the Helpdesk System
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Build positive relationships with customers

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years IT experience
  • Broad technical knowledge of IT infrastructure systems (particularly Microsoft)
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
  • Microsoft Azure including Windows integration experience
  • VMware and Hyper-V Virtualisation knowledge
  • Excellent Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013, Office 365 knowledge
  • Strong networking skills ideally (Routers, Switches, Firewalls etc.)
  • SharePoint 2013 / SharePoint Online
  • Proven analytical and logical troubleshooting approach
  • Excellent telephone communication skills
  • Strong drive for high customer service

Terms and Remuneration

  • London based
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 08:00 -18:00 (Shift System)
  • 25 days holiday
