Skype for Business will automatically replace the Lync Online Service and offers a familiar Skype experience, already used by 300 million people every month. Skype for Business is built into Office, so includes features such as presence, Instant Messaging, Voice and Video Calls and On-line Meetings. With the Skype for Business you will be able to search and connect to anyone within the Skype network, inside or outside of your organisation.

At Softwerx we were early adopters of Microsoft Office 365, incorporating Microsoft Lync. When we moved offices six months ago, we went a step further and left our traditional telephone system behind. We have been using Microsoft Lync with PSTN break-out and a single unified communications tool now for more than six months. Our complete company, including our Helpdesk utilises Microsoft Lync, now Skype for Business.
