Microsoft Enterprise Mobility plus Security is offered as an enhancement to Office 365.  Put simply, it’s an additional layer of security for company data — ideal for businesses than have a high proportion of remote or mobile workers.

If this is your organisation, you’re not alone. Research conducted by Microsoft in 2015 found:-

  • 52% of employees use three or more devices for work
  • 33% of employees based on employer premises also frequently work away from their desks
  • 90% of enterprises will have two or more mobile operating systems to support in 2017 i.e. Windows, Android and iOS
