This Privacy Notice explains how and why we collect and process your Personal Data from a marketing perspective, which will normally be associated with our Website. If you are already a Customer of ours, how we process your Personal Data will be covered in detail as part of your Service Agreement and, or our General Terms and Conditions.

How we collect Personal Data

We typically collect and process Personal Data in relation to our Website and, or general Marketing activities. Where we do this, we outsource our Digital Marketing activities to a Third-Party called SocialB Ltd. SocialB Ltd use a number of different tools and technologies including, but not limited to, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Live Chat and Hootsuite. Our Website also uses Cookie related technologies to track usage.

For People Who Visit Our Website (Google Analytics)

When someone visits our Website, we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

E-newsletter, webinar and downloads from our Website (Mailchimp)

We use a third-party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver our e-newsletter, email you our webinar booking confirmations and to email you our PDF downloads. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies including clear gifs to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter.  

For people who use our Live Chat Service (Live Chat)

We use a third-party provider, Live Chat, which we use to handle customer enquiries in real time. If you use the LiveChat service we will collect your name, email address (optional) and the contents of your LiveChat session.

For People who contact us via Social Media (Hootsuite)

We use a third-party provider, Hootsuite to manage our social media interactions.  If you send us a private or direct message via social media the message will be stored by Hootsuite for three months. It will not be shared with any other organisations.

If you do not want Softwerx to collect and process your Personal Data with regard to our Website and marketing activities, please do not access our Website and do not download available resources.
