secure365 DevOps – Behind the Scenes – July 2026

This month, an example of how Softwerx DevOps helps our customers by implementing constant incremental improvements to the secure365 service, in this case, through proactive cost optimisations. Here’s a quick summary: 

As part of the continuous review of all active customer environments, SecOps identified an opportunity to optimise the ingestion of AWS VPC Flow log data into Microsoft Sentinel. By refining the data schema and removing some unnecessary ingestion overheads, it proved possible to achieve an estimated 92% reduction in ingested log volume, which is delivering on average, a £140 daily cost saving, whilst maintaining the same high level of visibility required for effective security monitoring.
