This month, another really useful new Workbook, a raft of new analytic rules to make secure365 even more indispensable, and the release of our new deep dive demo. Here’s a quick summary:

  • Every Azure environment contains forgotten resources. From unattached managed disks holding residual data to unused gateways and public IPs, these assets create both financial waste and security risk. Our new secure365 workbook provides a centralised view of abandoned resources together with an estimated monthly cost to help prioritise cleanup efforts.
  • We introduced a set of twenty new detection rules, focusing on high-risk behaviours such as credential access, defence evasion, command execution, and data exfiltration. These rules enhance visibility across Key Vault services, PowerShell attacks, and external threat sources.
  • On the Softwerx stand at InfoSec 2026 in London, we showed our new secure365 demo with great success. Focusing on three key cyber incident scenarios, as flagged by Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, the demo deep dives into the forensic process our SOC analysts use to investigate and mitigate incidents. The demo scenarios were produced using a sandbox environment we developed specially for this purpose. If you want to see exactly how the analysts behind the secure365 service can deliver cybersecurity value to your business, ask your Softwerx account manager to arrange a demo for you.
