Cambridge, UK – January 2026 – Softwerx, one of the UK’s most experienced Microsoft Security Specialists, is delighted to announce the appointment of Sarah Armstrong-Smith as an advisor to the Softwerx Board. In this role, Sarah will provide expert guidance and support to strengthen Softwerx’s position as a trusted partner for Midmarket organisations who are seeking to better understand and leverage their existing Microsoft investments around security.

With extensive experience in cybersecurity and crisis leadership, Sarah is best known as the former Chief Security Advisor at Microsoft (EMEA), and Group Head Crisis Management at the London Stock Exchange Group. She is widely respected for her humility, trust and transparency, and is recognised as one of the UK’s most influential and inspiring tech leaders.
